What I learned from the book

There are 5 oceans in the world. many animals live in the world, only live in the oceans, and some do not live in the oceans. Coral reefs are a type of ecosystem in the oceans. coral is a rock made up of lots of coral animals. these coral reefs are only found in equatorial regions. some animals in the coral reefs are changing their color like the surrounding environment . so other organisms don’t eat them. These are camouflages of the oceans. some animals are camouflaged to eat other animals in a flash. Giant squid are animals that are big and found in all parts of the world. in the world they have very biggest eyes in the world. the giant squids are have the long arms and two very long tentacles to catch other animals to eat. Jelly fishes swim away from coral, jelly fishes are in different colors. In the ocean animals protect themselves using shells. A type of crab look like spider named spider crab. They have hard shells, so it is difficult eat them by other animals and humans. Very tiny animals live in the spider crab shells. Giant clams, have strong, hard, colorful and big shells. They lots of different colors of shells. The world biggest animal is blue whale. They eats lots of tiny animals. Deep down in the ocean is dark and very cold. In that place some of the animals live, without the light in the dark. Many of these animals different from the animals in the upper and middle part of the ocean. Some animals live in the dark, like dark gulper eel and angler fish have light. Angler fishes have the light in the head or up.

Some animals are attracted by the light and come near the Angler fishes. Angler will eat them. Gulper eel’s have the light in the back. Fish swim close to the gulper eel’s also eat them. New animals are found by the researchers in the oceans. in 2015 researchers found ninja sharks in the Pacific Ocean near North America. this shark’s skin glows in the dark. next, sharks are the biggest animal in the oceans and they cannot be the very very biggest animal in the oceans. some types of sharks are small animals and some are the biggest animals. hammerhead sharks and mako sharks are a type of shark. we dumped the plastics in the oceans. they are found in the southern and the Arctic oceans. plastics are made concern to the oceans. our oceans are in danger. many more plants and animals are live in the oceans are in danger.

People catch so many fishes to eat, this reduce the fishes count. We must protect the ocean by not catching more and more fishes. Catching the fishes during reproduction season will create huge impact on fish population. We also catching other invertebrates like crabs more and more, this is danger to them also.

We can clean up the sea shores and ocean by making new machines to collect rubbish from the ocean. We must protect all animals and plants by all means to make it safer. We should clean up the oceans to take care our oceans.
